I've been involved with radio since my earliest youth: At the age of 8, I received a CB handheld transceiver. In a time before the internet and mobile phones, my fascination for wireless communication was quickly sparked and continues to this day. In the early 2000s, I passed my amateur radio license exam. Although I have taken breaks from my hobby at different stages of life, I am still fascinated by the fact that with minimal effort and a proverbial piece of wire in a tree, I can establish worldwide communication without any additional infrastructure.

Here you will find lots of information about my activities and projects in amateur radio. Recently, many of my activities have revolved around my radio measurement vehicle, which I've been using since 2024 to actively participate in VHF-, UHF-, SHF-Contests.

The overview page for my radio monitoring vehicle is complete. Here you can find all the information about the vehicle, which was previously used by the Federal Network Agency for interference detection and is now repurposed by me for amateur radio purposes. Currently, I mainly use the vehicle to participate in VHF-, UHF-, SHF- contests.
